Playtest Terms & Conditions

Operator and current access

No Shelter Lasts is operated by Marko Bajlo, an individual based in Croatia. Contact: info@noshelterlasts.com. The game is free and in development, with a small closed playtest for invited adults. Public self-registration is closed; existing invited accounts keep their current access. There is no active in-application payment or subscription system.

Access to the Public Demo and Campaign follows the permissions on your account. The Demo contains ten Dead District regions and ends at completion of the Radio objective. The Campaign continues beyond that milestone. These terms do not grant additional permissions or lifetime access.

Your account

Keep your password, passkeys and recovery codes secure. Do not share another person’s credentials or attempt to enter another account. Contact the operator if you suspect unauthorized use.

A game in development

Features, balance and availability may change as development continues. Maintenance, faults or updates can interrupt play. Saves support continuing a run, but permanent preservation of every save cannot be guaranteed.

We give reasonable advance notice of planned material changes to access or saved data. Where urgent action is needed, we explain the change as soon as reasonably possible.

Failure of a run, character death and loss of fictional resources can be normal consequences of the survival game. They are distinct from a technical loss of data.

Permitted use and rights in the game

Invited access allows you to play and test the game for personal use. Rights in code, text, artwork and other material remain with their respective rightsholders. Access does not transfer those rights or grant a general right to redistribute the game or its assets. Any separate licence applicable to particular material remains applicable.

Do not attack or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities to obtain other people’s information, or use automation that harms availability or the integrity of the game. These rules do not prevent lawful use or exercise of mandatory rights.

Bugs, security and account closure

Report bugs and suspected security problems to info@noshelterlasts.com. Provide a concise description and avoid sending other users’ data, passwords or private security credentials. Stop testing if it risks someone else’s data or the service.

You may stop playing and use the profile’s account-deletion option or request assistance by email. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing and deletion limits; reading it is not a request for blanket consent.

Existing testers and applicable rights

These are new terms for the current development phase. Their publication does not claim that existing testers accepted them previously and does not introduce a new acceptance gate or automatic suspension. Existing playtest access is unchanged by this publication.

Croatian law applies to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and other statutory rights that apply to you remain unaffected. These terms do not exclude liability where the law does not permit exclusion, or require you to waive a statutory remedy.
